AN 11mm (FRENCH ORDNANCE) SIX-SHOT SERVICE REVOLVER,, MODEL '1873', serial no. H67190,
dated for 1882, with octagonal to round 4 1/2in. barrel, solid frame with ejector rod mounted to the right and field strippable side-plate, hinged loading gate, stepped cylinder, double-action mechanism and chequered walnut grip with lanyard swivel at heel, the whole with a later blued finish
